well i've used a profile amp before, when i first started out and it wasn't too bad.. I got it for pretty cheap, and it served me well.. Never had any problems, but you could def. tell it was an inferior brand. Save up bro and get what ya want

Go to best buy and buy a wiring harness, seriously you don't want to cut into the factory wiring if you don't have to. It will cost you $8 and save you a TON of time and possible problems down the line. That being said, if you are still foolish enough to cut the factory wiring... Constant 12V+ Red/...

Need the wiring diagram for the factory radio, trying to hook up an alpine to it, but the wires are not even close in color, so i have no idea what connects to what..

Same thing happened to me after about a month. I ended up taking it back to the car audio shop and they had to send it in for a full unit replacment, Turns out the motor burnt out?? Hope this helps, BTW it shoudlnt' cost you anything just shipping and hanndeling which ws like 5 bux for me, and about...

nah the amp is not an amp at all its just a kenwood reciever .. so i dont care about it it's old some chanels dont work etc .. but the sub is a alpine type r dual 2 ohm 12" .. just sitin around.. and im bored .. as long as nothing ahppens to the sub

ok i've got a quick question.. what will result if you wire a dual 2 ohm sub ( wired up to 4 ohms) and hook it up to an 8 ohm amp? What damage will result to either, if any.. thanks

Ight guys i fukd up.. i got my calculations wrong somehow and ended up building a slot port tuned to 57 hertz not 38 like i wanted.... There really is no possible way for me to fix this problem now... unless i rip it all apart, or could i simple put a piece of wood over 6 inchs of the opening to mak...
