Alpine CDA-9851

Post by dmeyer07 »

Okay i bought this head unit for $260 at my local car audio dealer.

I love the looks of it, and the full size screen (fold down, tilt, etc) is great!

I'm runin my speakers of external amps so i'm not sure how the head unit is for amplification.

Features are great, i like the fact that you can label cds on it and it will remember there titles, etc. Same thing with radio stations.

The quick title search is a must for those 200 track mp3 cd's.

The fact that this hu plays, highmat, wma, mp3, etc is great.

It lives up to the Alpine standard thats for sure...

Sounds awesome, crystal clear, and tight.

There isn't all that much for eq, just your bass, treb, sub, and -10-
+10, wide narrow,etc...

Tilt is a nice feature, although being able to do it from the remote would be nice.

All in all i am very happy with this product. I would highly recommend it to those of you who are looking for a great head unit without breaking your wallet!

(Just a quick review, on the run today, sorry if she's a lil incomplete. If ya wana know more ask :) ).

Same thing happened to me after about a month. I ended up taking it back to the car audio shop and they had to send it in for a full unit replacment, Turns out the motor burnt out??
Hope this helps,

BTW it shoudlnt' cost you anything just shipping and hanndeling which ws like 5 bux for me, and about 2 weeks of your time.

Hope this helps
