i think you are taking this much too personally. my only point is that i have used cadence, i have also used jbl, jl, fosgate, alpine, mtx, earthquake, crunch, and power akoustik audiobarf and ma high current junk too, as far as amps go. so far, i am most impressed with cadence. that's it. that's all.Bwcad1 wrote:do you realize who i am? do you think im some kid who sits behind his keyboard reading everything and listen to everything people ever say?
im a competitor in dbdrag and bass race infact im ranked 9th in the world right now in the bass race 149.9 class.
as for cadence and waldoman. im not going to sit here and waste my time typing the names of all the people who say cadence is crap. if it works for you more power to you. i have way more important things to do than sit here and go back and forth when i already stated i have no exp with the actual product im going by the words of fellow competitors.
now been everyone is reccomending Fi because its a great product thats it the simple truth.
if you don't like em, great! i'm not sitting back trying to poke at or insult your intelligence or experience. never. you're a good guy, and a very well respected member here. like i said originally, i have never heard you say anything that wasn't intelligent on this forum, and when i said "except for this", i was just bustin balls bud.
i will find out how their subs are. i sold my elevations to buy them, and i am going to be quite pissed and disappointed if they ARE sh1tty subs, and trust me, you guys will be the first to find out.
i will never knock their amps. and as far as the price for the cwm6-kits, sh1t you can't go wrong. i will be buying their cvl 6.5's to replace these, and hopefully i will not be disappointed there either.
if i am, lesson learned, and again i will be the first to back you up and admit you were right all along with some numbers or lack thereof, or a blown coil or two to prove it.
but all in all, i hope you're not p1ssed, sounds like you're aggravated, and that was not my intent.

hey bill,, what are they running in the crunch vehicle, amps/subs wise. I used to really like the OLD cruch stuff, 50shc, early 90's stuff, but then they went to shit. I'm liking the fact their bringing Crunch back, most people think of Crunch now as fleamarket crap. Which it was for a few years. The new GP stuff looks good...

Theres too many "good" comp sets.. everybody can tell you this is good thats good and for every person that likes a certain set they'll be someone that doesn't. What is going to make the real difference is how you set it up, as long as you buy a decent set. its kinda hard to go by other peoples opinion of what your going to have to listen to in your car in your install.. not trying not to help, but to make a point..
So I take it that if nobody so far has trashed it (ie Sony), then it's at least decent? Or have most people not heard these speakers in person?breakjunki wrote:Theres too many "good" comp sets.. everybody can tell you this is good thats good and for every person that likes a certain set they'll be someone that doesn't. I'm having a hard time finding a place that sells Morel. Found a dealer but it's two hours away. Going to drive there end of August probably.

well.. I didn't get specific with the decent set explination due to the fact I really didn't want to fall into the good bad brand name dropping thing.. but sony sucks...once upon a time the mobile es stuff was great, but not all the new xplod crap.. But listen to whatever sets you can, and get a set you like. You may really like the sonys..
Based on the research I've done, there are two popular internet dealers that sell rainbows: premier-audio and speedsound. And from what I've read, people have had bad experiences from speedsound, but not from premier-audio. I am also told that if you call or PM the dealers directly, they'll give you better quotes than what's listed on their site. This is all hearsay btw.pimpmaynard wrote:also: i've been reading that rainbow doesn't authorize internet resale of their products, yet i've come across the site "http://www.premier-audio.com/" and they claim to be an authorized retailer. should i be concerned, anyone have any history with them?
