Actually the older I get the dumber about things I seem to become... That is the majority of the problem, kids seem to think that they know it all, and when you get older you find you really don't :p ... So at my age I tell everyone that I know a lil bit about everything and nothing about any of what I know :)

I think drinking should be a law enforced on the individual, but that'll never happen. It's kind of annoying you just thinking your smarter because your older, I'm being 'rationale' and I agree with Jonathan.

i think being older gives you the right to say u know more... U have experienced more, and IMO that makes you more qualified to give responses to answers.... Thats perhaps the reason why i respect the opinions and statements put forth by members such as CarGodz and GlassWolf

I don't think it should matter how old or young a person is to have an opinion and, for the most part, a younger persons opinion should be heard before stereotyped. I'm not trying to start a big argument but I don't think it's fair to classify all teenagers into the same category of knowledge, logic or whatever based on their age.

Right, that would be stereotyping. However, for the greater good some things must be abstained. Imagine if they made it legal for you to drink at 18. How many kids do you think would still go to college? It is not a matter of picking on the kids under 18 (that is how many see it), rather it is a safegard, an investment in the future. As far as age being a factor in an opinion, damn skippy age has an influence on it. You do not, and will not see that right now because you are young. However, it does not take long after that infamous 21st birthday to realize there is more to it than meets the eye. With age comes experience, and with that knowledge. Knowledge that cannot ever be taught, but learned.

there's a difference between knowledge your talking about and experience. i don't think im completely right in my argument but i don't think just becomes someone is older that their opinion is more valid then a teenagers... at least not in every situation

Dude just say you were drinking an O-Douls or whatever.
A Non-alcoholic beer to look cool.

May make a fool of urself but the cops will just say you had what looked to be an alcoholic substance.

I got a MUI a while back and I got like some stupid probation and 200 buck fine. I was going to fight it but I had enough problems at the time.

Nothing wrong what so ever with a minor drinking if HE/SHE is doing it responsibly. Now...Being in public with an alcoholic drink ...may not be responsibly and thats how ya got busted. But I understand where ur coming from.
I use to drink all the time at 17+ ..I mean if I'm being smart about it How will I get caught?
I got busted at 20..but there are a lot of circumstances behind it.
