Each one that I had to fix had them intertwined (so yeah totally criss crossed).Bwcad1 wrote:see thats the thing sometime that will work fine. it usually occurs if your RCA's run perpendicular to your power wires.

Richard Clark wrote a nice article debunking this myth.
as volume decreases enough to hear the noise, so does the current carried through the power wire, thus making any eminating field so minute, that it wouldn't have an audible effect on the system.

if you can't hear it, it isn't noise :)
\the definition of sound is the brain's interpretation of pressure on the tympanic membrane. remove the ears from the equation, and you have no sound.
Thus, if a tree falls in the forest, and nobody is there to hear it, it doesn't make a sound.

i think i got it now and im gonna have to side with glass on this one.....its early and i havent been drinking but if i understand glass correctly this is what happened....
some guy named clark (possibly clark griswald) cut down a tree in the forest and it landed on your car....since you werent there to see it and clark had his ears removed there was no noise. since there was no noise what you heard was not noise because you can hear noise and since you heard something that was quite obiously not noise you must not have heard it...see? its that simple
