The 2nd s10 blazers are easy to install in. I installed a set of components in the front, the amps and subs in the rear, and not one wire showing anywhere (well except on the amp rack, which is how he wanted it, notice the kicker amp didnt have the side covers on to block the wires?)

We ended up never carpeting it but it sounded good and got pretty loud. He took the system out and put it in the garage when he sold the blazer, then somebody broke in and stole the kicker subs and the kicker amp, but they left the components and jbl and all the tools and such...

I pulled the kick panel, door sails (plastic trim), etc and ran the wires between the seat and the doors on the passenger side, the ran the rcas and such down the drivers side... Everything was hitting nicely...Darthness wrote:that sucks^.. i think mine is a little newer? maybe not? Unless you're a total newb you should be able to pull the seats, console, and carpet on in an hour or two tops. Drive down here to Missouri and we'll get some beer and get everything looking pretty... :happy055:
ahh, the 2nd gen blazers really didnt change much... blazinlow is pretty sweet, the 1st gen blazers are sooooooooo much cooler than the 2nd gens...

yeah thats true about the 1st gens... 1st gen 2door blazer with some droppage = HAWt.
but yeah.. thats the problem, i don't have 2 hours to take it out, finish the wires and then put it back in... plus, its 100% un needed for me to so all that... i'll sooner duct tape the wire do the carpet.

Taking my sub out today or tomorrow to get ready for shipping Tuesday. I won't have a sub until it gets warmer and I can make a new box.swimmerdude wrote:i could of told you that one.
And theres another thing that is better in a Jeep... you can hide wires under the trim panels!! I have 1/0 and 4g under one side!!!
And i totally know how you feel since you have had no bass/system. I have had my sub out for 2 days now and it makes me sad. And i shipped her off last night too, oh i'm gonna miss that piece of beauty.
