You received a total score of 54%

Your Scores By Section:
45% is Not Passing for the Basic Electrical Section
55% is Not Passing for the Installation Knowledge & Technique Section
59% is Not Passing for the Components of Mobile Electronics Section

I guess i wont be certified anytime soon.

Maybe i should have paid more attention in electronics 1,2 and 3.

I only concern myself with car audio. Not vide, GPS, Cell Phone antennas or anything else of the sort. I have no intrest in any of that, thus no desire to learn it...
Well, the ME in MECP stands for Mobile Electronics...

I'm not sure that most of teh installers at BB or CC have passed the SATs, let alone MECP certification, so you'll be well ahead of the curve there, no doubt.
Most of those monkeys don't seem to be capable of plugging an accessory into the lighter plug. I often wonder how they manage to insert their car keys and start their own cars in the morning to get to work looking at their levels of ineptitude over the years of fixing installs done at those chains.

I noticed at the local best buy there is like 3-4 normal MECP certificates and one Silver level.

Just because they have a piece of paper doesnt mean they are good installers....

Kiki is right. Before i joined the AF I got offered a job at both, and had to turn it down. CC is all about how fast you can get it done. The more you do in a day the more money you make. If you don't care about how it looks or sounds then that is fine. But I am one of those people, I wouldn't want someone doing a crappy job on my car, so why would I do it to theirs. Your best bet lotus, would be to find a higher end car stereo shop, and work for them.
