My Sub choices, cant make up my mind

Ok im going to narrow stuff down and start with my front stage, and then worry about the subs and waht not.... Here are the choices from up front I chose

why dont you spend more on a set of front speakers? If you get a loud clean set of coaxials or components you wont need rear speakers, just subs. Just think spend money now and take the speakers with you to your next car.

Note on subs: Ive realized you can only have so much bass before it gets annoying. The problem im having is hitting the lower notes with my small sealed box lol

Depends on how much bass you want...

A single 12 RE series is enough to provide fill and some extra boom.

Anything much more than that is just boom...

sound is subjective to the individual, so instead of asking us what to buy, and later complaining that it isn't what you wanted, why not go listen to these speakers, and pick the ones your own ears like the best?

That's the way to buy speakers, and emember the front stage is most vital to overall sound in the car. This is where 70% of your audio comes from, so you need good power to the fronts, with good speakers. Any sub can make bass. The human ear isn't as sensitive to low frequencies, which is why we can use class D amps with plenty of distortion, and lousy subs, and still get adequate bass for a car, but we can easily pick out differences in any two sets of comonents in the front stage.

thanks for the info guys, you are completely right but sometimes i just want it nasty loud.... but when im driving around town i like it to sound good... its either between the focal and the MB quarts.... and the only brands sold around my area, JL , JL, ummm JL, and then some alphasonik and JL....lol

I think them comps run about $300 in a store and the subs $359 or $349...

What about two Mmats pro audio 10s? with a us Amps from ikesound.com they are 700rms@4ohm and those subs are 350rms... or maybe just get a single 15'' with a small amp

two Mmats 10s ,ported @34hz, directed audio 1100d5(600rms@1ohm) and it will power my comps plus I can add rear fill!!! might still consider one 15''
