What else do i need?

Post by npcout »

Im getting my 2 channel amp, Bridged mono installed, and a capacitator. What other things do i need? Here is what i got so far. 4 ga. / 20 ft. clear Red Power Cable

4 ga. / 3 ft. clear Black Ground Cable
12 ga. / 33 ft. clear Speaker Cable
17 ft. Blue Turn On Cable
17 ft. Shielded Clear Blue RCA Cable
AGU Fuse Holder with 60A AGU Fuse

What extra wires do i need to wire a 2 channel amp and capacitator?

Its a 1998 Plymouth breeze just so you no.

Thanks alot for the help!

You shouldnt need anything else. Maybe just ring connectors to hook up to battery terminals and to attatch your ground to.

How big is the amp you are running? Are you sure you need a capacitor? You would be better off running a high output alternator. Might also want to upgrade your battery if you havent already.

1 is a 980 Watt max 2 channel, and the other is a 600 Watt 4 channel amp.

Im assuming you are running a distribution block? You will probably want to run 1/0 to the distro block and run 4 to each amp. I would definitely look into a high output alternator though, a capacitor is only a bandaid to a lacking charging system.

I think he has 2 amps.
1 '2' channel, and a '4' channel right?

I would use one. How else are you gonna split the power between 2 amps? Get an amped one too if you can. Just an extra safeguard.

Oh, didn't see the post where he said two amps. You need a distro block, how else would you get power to both amps?
