Do you want me to call Steve and tell him he's a flippn idiot? :D I have no problem doing that. He called me the other night asking about you. I didn't think about what Ryan he was talking about, took me a min, lol. His power that I know of is a single rockford fosgate prime 500-1 (2ohm stable class ab amp) no crossovers built into it or anything. It's definitely a basic amp, I'll eve tell him his goals of mid 50's is just lol. I dunno what kind of other power he has, but I know for sure that's one of em. I know he will be mixing amps like he is the subs. I was quick about it and told him not to do 2 different subs, but I rly didnt get into it with him.
Ryan, lemme try to talk to him and get him to change his set up.

yes i seen the prime amp. I think he has like 10 Ga wiring too... Looks like it was grounded to the trunk lid or package tray...

I was going to help him install this stuff correctly also when the box was done. to help minimize any negative issues ;)

I cant remember off hand what the other amp is. He told me hehas like a 1200 and 500 amp...

I will get more details tonight.

I talked with him last night about his setup. Talked about having two different sets of subs and two different amps makes this a tad bit out of the ordinary to do... Mixing and matching subs usually isnt the best thing, etc. but he assures me it sounds good and is loud.

I gave him a price on the box which was pretty cheap IMO. And he said ok, but its gonna have to wait a two weeks to a month... lol :(

Oh well. I gave him some info on the box size. Some on porting.

yes they want to "see" what they will be buying. Which means I got to design it then get them a picture. Then they want to know the overall size and port info...

Well I dont/wont do all that anymore. Its just a picture with some numbers... not enough to build from.

make him pay you $15 for the design. tell him it'll come off the price of the box if you build it.

Thats not a bad idea.

Hopefully the fella will decides to run a single pair of MATCHING subs, then has you build the box and do the install...

You collect some jingle, he gets a nice sound system, everyone's happy.

In a perfect world, I can see that happening, but like Ryan said, customers always right (in his mind at least), even though he rly has no idea.
