heh, my walmart has had christmas stuff up since before halloween, and we started getting christmas stuff in july (mind you, a few boxes here and there)
and now we're playing christmas music. its sickening to me. Theres no point in christmas anymore other profit for walmart and other retailers.

While I'll admit Christmas has become Wayyyy to commercial... I wouldn't quite say it's pointless...Darthness wrote:Theres no point in christmas anymore other profit for walmart and other retailers.

I myself find it comic that a religious Holiday such as Christmas has the exposure that it does... So many people that don't have any idea of who Jesus is... They think Christmas is all about Santa and presents... WTF

yea, that's what I meant. i just missed an H. I didn't care for it all that much, but it wasn't bad. It is also 14% alcohol, I think lol. I still have the bottle at home, I'll edit the post if it isn't 14%.CaptainPioneer wrote:Wait are you thinking of Samichlaus? Yea it is pretty rare but i have had one before... Just because its strong doest make it a super great beer... For instance... Sam Adams Utopias.. lol well then again i never really liked that taste. lol. If you would like a pretty good beer that isnt quite as expensive defintiely look at Ommegang Hennepin.

that is a good point, hell, hanukkah lasts over what, 7-9 days?cargodz wrote:While I'll admit Christmas has become Wayyyy to commercial... I wouldn't quite say it's pointless...

)... I like to find time throughout the holiday season to talk with irritated shoppers and ask them what they think Christmas is all about. If they give me the Santa and how their kids expect to have such and such under the tree... I ask them why they don't celebrate Hanukkah... Their response obviously is almost always "Cause I'm not Jewish." My response: Well it doesn't sound like you're christian... and the speal goes on from there LOL

Specialized are some awesome bikes. Friend of mine has a Specialized road bike like that, except one in the ~$700 range. I'm thinking of getting one myself when it gets close to spring.solacedagony wrote:My uncle just got himself one of these in red:
