the amp is a memphis 1000d (yes its monoblock) and my subs are dual voice coils

i have two 12" memphis subs with 400rms and 800peak and im wondering how i should wire them... my amp runs 1100watts at 1ohm, 600watts at 2ohms, and 300 at 4ohms.... here are my questions- 1. How many ohms should i wire them at, and how would i wire them? 2. Would it hurt my subs if i sent more...

i was told to wire them at series parallel and i looked at a few diagrams so im sure i wired them right, but they dont sound any different than when i had them wired just regularly.
