What about Low Pass ??This adjustment ranges from 35 Hz to 250 Hz. --??

Anybody familiar with the Hifonics amps ???

Alright, Got the Ascendant Audio 8 inch subs and I installed them in sealed boxes . My question is where should the settings be on my amp(Hifonics BX1000D)?? The adjustment knobs are labeled:subsonic, bass eq, low pass, phase, and level.-----???

I will have the 8 inch Assassins in their own sealed box under the bucket seats in my Jeep. My question is, should they be downward firing(into the floor) or upward firing(into the seat)???

Thanks swimmerdude, I think I'll go with Ascendant Audio. They sound like a good quality sub and a price you just can't beat. I'll just have to watch my amp settings.

Yea, those look like awesome subs but they are $150 a piece versus $50 a piece for the Assassins. Looking to get a couple of 8 inch subs because of limited space in my truck. Each one will be in a small sealed box. My amp is a Hifonics BX1000D mono. Should I go with Ascendant Audio Assassins (they are single 4 ohm woofers) OR Elemental Designs 9kv.2's (they are dual 4 ohm woofers)???? -Any Recom...

The subsonic filter has a minimum setting of 15 hz and 35 hz is the max. So, should I turn it all the way up to the max 35hz?? Is this right??
