Where should I install speakers/tweeters?

Here a couple of pics of the inside of an 06 civic. Any advice on installing tweeters? The factory ones are way up in the dash (and this dashboard is a mile long).. I was thinking of on the little triangle peice in front of the side window and angling it towards the center of the car.
Another question, you can see the speaker grill on one of these pictures, do you think I should cut that out?
Keep in mind for both questions that I want the best sound possible. I already have an idea of what i'm going to do, but I want to hear what others have to say.. thanks


My car is like the top one, no little window in the corner (I have a coupe)
