car suggestions

ok guys i have been approved for a 4000$ loan for a car......i just needs some suggestions on what to get and what NOT to get...

yea id go for a small car with like 25-30+ mpg even if they are gay you will be rich as piss.

With gas prices the way they are you would be stupid to buy about anything rated under 30 MPG city. Its only going to get worse...

Look into a GM ecotec 4Cylinder powered car. I hear they do very well.

i wouldn't mind a chevy aveo... but ****, they're ugly and no room for a few 15's.

I believe the Aveo was the of the cheapest cars to own overall. I read a list of them not too long ago.

Here's a short list of economical cars for ya well under your price range:
Dodge Neon
Honda Civic
VW Jetta
Nissan Altima or Sentra
Chevy Cavalier/ Pontiac Sunfire
Saturn SC or SL
Kia Sephia
Toyota Camry (Geo Prism) Corolla
All of these are great on gas and and can be fixed relatively cheap

I wouldnt touch a Jetta.... Too many electrical and vaccume problems

I would add Hyundai Accent, and the Kia Rio to that list. Also, for the most part foriegn cars are better and more car for the price than American cars. I own a 2005 Accent and I routinely get much better MPG than is listed on the sticker.
