Well I just got back from NOPI in Detroit (Milan, Mich. really) and it was a blast... During the burnout contest, one of my buddies nearly had his head takin off cause we were only 20-30ft away from the burnout box and a tire blew sending a huge chunk right at him... No harm done though, but was some scary chit...
Other than that... Fast cars and hanging out with the NOPI Chics was cool... I got a T-shirt, Calender, and Huge Banner for the shop all signed the 4 that were there

I'll get some pics up after I take the film in to get developed.

sounds like fun, i wish i would have looked at the calender and made plans to go. Was there anything audio related goin on there?

IASCA was there on Saturday for an Event, but from what I heard it wasn't much of a turn out... Then again, the whole event didn't have much of a turn out... Probably cause of a couple reasons; 1) Poor Adversting... They advertised it as "In Detroit", when actually it's Milan (a lil hick town about 20-30 miles outside of Detroit, and about the same distance from Toledo). I think they would have been better off saying Ann Arbor since it's the nearest big city... That or simply state Milan Dragway. 2) Would have to be just simply because it was the first time at Milan... I think next year will be a lil bigger.
Although it was kinda nice to have room to move around in the stands, park closer, and have time to talk to the NOPI Chics... Come to find out one of them is hooked on Myspace and has over 120K friends and she gave me her myspace address to sign up :)
