Hi folks,
The subject line says it all. I'm looking at these three amplifiers for a 4 channel setup. They have similar prices and specs. I'm interested in SQ more than loudness. Which do you suggest I get? My local dealer has them but they're not hooked up for me to listen. I appreciate ALL responses, thanks!

Just oick the one with the options you need, or want.
Providing they all output the same power, features is the only real deciding factor. Well that and build quality...

Well let's see, You are looking at the:
Alpine MRP-F550
Rough specs being: 90w rms x 4 @ 14.4v and <1% THD
PhoenixGold Tantrum 600.4
Rough specs being: 75w rms x 4 @ 14.4v and 1% THD
Infinity Reference REF475A
Rough specs being: 75w rms x 4 @ 14.4v and <1% THD
So I guess the real question are:
How much power do you need? and How much do you want to spend?
If you're geared towards SQ then I would look at the Alpine or the Infinity as both have a lower distortion rating, then from there look at how much power you need (as the Alpine provides more power).
Hope this helps :)
