Crunch GP3000D-Pro?

Post by Schmuck »

I was just wondering if these amps were any good. It looks like the build quality is decent judging by the one pic of the internals they have on their site, and I am pretty sure that is not the 3000D, in think that might be a little beefier. Anyway if anybody has any experiece with these amps let me know your opinion on the quality of the amp. Such as reliabilty, versatility, and most of all does it do rated power, if so how much THD? Do not give me the specs I want real world experience and opinions. If it is not any good someone throw me some suggestions of some better amps in the same price range.

Those are going to be awesome. They are brand spanking new, so good luck getting real world results. The only person that I know that probably knows something that has experience with them is Bill Wolf because he is sponsored by Maxxsonics. But, I have heard they are just about the same as the Autotek MM3000.... so with that said, they are going to be very very nice amps. I run a MM2000 and it is awesome. And that amp will do rated power, there is no doubt about that. My old Crunch's were awesome, i loved them. All I can say is that you will be happy, I have been happy with all of my Maxxsonics purchases.

Like I said, a team Maxx guy would only know. And they got some serious power out of it. It will do rated power on 12volts and over it if you can keep your charging voltage up.

Yea, on a 16v setup, but no one will do that for a daily setup. Don't go by that unless you are a competitor. Realistic numbers are more the 12v numbers unless you have invested into a high amp alt and a few batts, then the 13-14 volt numbers will be pretty accurate.

I'm with Mikey on this one...
It is sure to be an awesome amp, but also as he stated, you'd need a ton of power to keep that amp at that kinda power and it wouldn't be suitable as a daily driver... If You are serious about competion though it would make a very good choice...
The Buick for Team Wolf Pack has 2) MM4000s (another Maxx line), a 300amp alt, and is getting a 3rd 2150 Battery ;)
