New to the nuthouse...

Hello all...
My name is Kris. I found this site while doing some research, liked what I saw, and decided to hang around awhile.

I'm 34 but have been involved with mobile audio in some form or another since I was 16, although never pro except for a brief stint as an installer for Best Buy about 10 years back. I live in Tampa, FL but my wife is graduating from medical school next month and then we're moving to Detroit at the end of June so that she can begin her residency as a doc. I'm Mexican, we're a tropical people. I'm not looking forward to that thing Detroit has..... snow is what I think they call it. :help:

I lean more towards the SQL side of things, but I still like a nice portion of insane low end.

Anyway, I look forward to interacting with others, getting my questions answered, and answering others questions as well!

Welcome Kris, it is good to have another one who is older and married. Mind you you aren't older than I am, and you are about a 1/4 as old as Cargodz, but who is counting when you are as old as Methuzeleh

Glad to have ya on board and i'm sure you'll enjoy your stay as we have quite a few older and more mature people here (but we do still like to goof around from time to time).
You'll have to hit some of us northerners up once you get up here as there is quite a few of us from the southern Michigan, Northern Ohio, and Indiana area

Thanks for the greets, everyone. And some of you aren't exactly making me feel better about moving to MI...heh. Luckily, my wife and I have some friends in the area, and I was raised an Okie until I moved to FL a few years back, so I at least know how to deal with snow & Ice. My wife was born in Honolulu and raised in New Orleans so she's the one who's going to have the most shock...

So where in Michigan are you moving to?? You say Detroit... but I doubt you are actually going to move in Detroit.... so i am assuming a city outside of Detroit??

check them out as well, im also in the same boat as you concerning wives, mine is born and raised in north carolina and then lived in southern arizona down near the border before landing here in northern ky.....so she doesnt like the snow much, but then neither do i but i couldnt imagine growing up without snow days to look forward to...
