Fi BL new line?

Post by CaptainPioneer »

Any one have any time on one of these subs... Maybe thinkin that this might be an option for later on, even though the Q looks good as well... Its apparently the lower SPL line for Fi, yet it looks pretty intense.

I've read on them quite a bit. More of a lower budget SPL driver. It falls really good inbetween the Q and BTL. It is like the opposite of the Q. The Q is the SQ sub of that price range, and the BL is the SPL sub of that price range. I think it works out well beause there are some people who want spl over sq, and cant afford a BTL. I really want to try out some Fi drivers. I head bill's Fi X's. 2 of them on like 800watts..... yea, its loud!!! Loudest i have heard for 2 10's. He said he metered them at a bit above a 140.

FI's entire line up is awesome.. a buddy of mine has a 15" FI Q on 1600rms, and it pulled a 148 on music on the new TL.. and at MECA finals in Ky, a guy had a pair of FI subs(not sure which, BTL's maybe) and they did some nice numbers.

im thinking that i might go with the Q because from what i am hearing, its a great performing and sounding sub... Def would go with the 15 i am just wondering if i should be saving for the blow through in a couple years or to sell my RE SX12 and get the FI Q 15... I like the SX but i think im ready for a 15 after all these years
