dash kit

i just called ups they said my new hu will be here within the next 1/2 hour.

the question i have is- my adaptor to put the after market deck in is recessed, do i need to get a diferent one to install the flip out screen, or does the screen come out far enough to clear the dash and open up?

its going in a 97 dodge ram

test it and see is the only way to find out usually.

yeah it appears to have enough clearance, i cant install it at the moment, i cant even see my truck it looks like giant snowman...

i was jsut wondering fi someones installed one yet or not in the same vehicle
