Text on screen slow?

Post by loudwagon15s »

I've got a Pioneer DEH 4800mp deck and noticed that the text took noticeably longer to dissapear when any changes were made to the screen. It has gotten down to about 5 degrees here in detroit, which RARELY happens. I was wondering if this kind of cold presents future damage to my hu, and if i should take the faceplate inside during cold nights?

that is somewhat normal activity with HU's in colder weather, once the HU warms up inside, it will start to act normal, also, ive never heard of the cold weather damaging anyones cd player.. because moisture doesnt really develope in the car, so..

Yes normal, before I even turn on my HU, I make sure it's warm enough inside the car. Just a thought.
