Lanzar MXA242

Post by Max »

Hey Im looking at buying a new amp to power my 2 Infinity Perfect 12.1 subs. Was wondering if anyone knows about the Lazar MXA242 or the VIBE258 and if there any good.
Thanks

Only amps worth anything that comes out of Lanzar as far as decent quality goes is the OptiDrive series... so I'm with the others on saving up or look at something else...
What are you looking to spend? Cause there are a few lesser known companies that make quality equipment at a decent price.

I'm trying to keep it under 600... I heard that Lanzar is usualy pretty crap but that amp there is good for the price... I could get that for like 250 and 1600 watts for that price is pretty good. Any amps u guys would recommend for 2 Infinity Perfect 12.1 12" Subs?
And are u guys saying they suck out of experience or what?

I carry Lanzar and AM saying "they suck" out of experience... IMO the only ones that are built decent are the OptiDrives...
Besides that's not actually 1600w... that's the max rating which should be ignored. That amp only puts out 800wrms.

And if you're looking for something better built that will put out that much power (800wrms) for a good price... I just mentioned this one to someone else on here: Xsite XA1800 (800wrms, monoblock, 2ohm stable) $199.00 plus shipping ;)
