Ok its been a while but i am back with the same old questions, due to some financial issues i had to scrap my old plan and am coming up with new ideas, wont be able to afford major electrical upgrades to my jeep so am searching for decent output low wattage subs, i have norrowed down my choices mainly mainstream just incase i need to sell it quick i dont really want to have to run more then 600-800 watts. these are my ideas so far have both 2 12 and single 15 set ups in mind.
2-12's
jl13w1 300.00

jl12w3v2 360.00

diamond d3 230.00

id12v.3 300.00

cvr 12 170.00

mtx 7500 320.00

single 15

jl15w3v2 350.00
d6 15 240.00
d3 15 140.00
idq15v2 240.00
cvr15 150.00
mtx 8500 15 330.00
type r 260.00
I listen to mainly rap rb and occasion hard rock alternative, they will mostlikely go in and audioenhancers box ported unless specs call for sealed going in a 2000 jeep cherokee amp is not chosen yet will buy according to subs i go with all opinions accepted

What is this audioenhancers ported box that you will be puting these subs in?? Is it a prefab enclosure?? Sticking any of those subs in a prefab enclosure will make you dissapointed. For whatever you choose, make sure you design or have someone design an enclosure that fits the sub well to get the most potential out of the sub.

Personally.... i dont know why you have mtx on there when some of the other subs that you have listed are as good or better and cost half as much. The best budget sub you have listed are the kicker cvr's. They will good loud and sound pretty ok. Subs like the JL and the Image Dynamics are more towards sq subs will not be as loud as the kicker's. Unless you are looking for pure sq subs, i would have to choose between the kickers or the diamonds.

I like single sub setups better. You pay for a better quality product usually and it will take a little less power to get as loud as you want it to be.

Doesn't somebody on here have a 15" Type R for sale? ... That's the one I'd go with.

audioenhancers is a company that works with the manufacturers to come up with a box specifically designed for that speaker yes its a prefab but not one just based on random air space it built to spec for that sub

mainstream is great and all, but can i say it???? FI car audio, SSD will work magic on 600-700rms, in a fifteen or 18 and less expensive than most listed. i like w3s they dont do to bad volume wise and you cant beat the sound quality, diamonds be to shabby either. Honestly just dont touch the MTX please just dont get me started. Great door props tho!

Have thought about fi but wanted to wait a little longer, cause what i noticed a while back everyone was talking about how great RE was then opinions changed so was kind of waiting to see if the same would happen to Fi. Give me a comparison to what jl would the ssd compare? I have the most experience with jl so that is why i ask for the comparison and about how long does it take to get subs through fi

Well a properly powered ssd can get pretty darn loud possibly comparable to the 12 w7. It does not quite have its sq. This subwoofer i would say is about 70 percent spl, and 30sq. It will sound good dont get me wrong. It took 5 days from the day i ordered till it arrived at my door. And RE went down hill becuase they went mainstream, FI is made by one of the engineers from RE when the were good and had good costumer service. The men building your exact sub will be the men who respond to any of your emails, and will help you with box building and what not. Send them an email, im not seeing FI getting a bad reputation any time soon. I have their Q and i love it never had any problems with it at all.
