UPS ticks me off sometimes

The last little piece of carpet I needed to finish the console was suppose to be delivered today.

According to UPS's website, it went 'out for delivery' at 6:55am.

It's now 8:00PM and no package, and their site still says the same thing.

I bet anything tomorrow it will say something about 'need address verfication' or something like that.

grrr.

I've been waiting all day for that carpet, I really was hoping to put that console back in.

ups guy is probably running late.. its happened to me before. i'd call or go up to the UPS location. although they're probably closed now.

their web site says they only deliver til 7:00pm. So no chance of getting it tonight.

I sent them an email asking 'where is it' and asked if it would be delivered tomorrow morning.

no no.. i've had packages come later than that.. if the driver is running late he'll probably stay out and get his packages out. i've had them come at like 9pm once... know how it feels though. i ordered a dvd and they didn't come until after 7 - i was pissed because i paid for faster shipping...

What really bothers me about UPS, and maybe all of them.

If something gets lost, their systems don't seem to notify them of it. It just sits in limbo until either the shipper or receiver notifies them. Then they'll look for it, but not until then.

I hope you're right, if I get it tonight I can finish it up in the morning.

Otherwise, hopefully I can find time during the weekend to do it.

if the UPS warehouse place is close by, maybe you can call the 800 number and see if youc an just pick it up instead. thats what i did with fedex & my ipod.

If it is UPS you may be SOL until tommorrow. I like UPS the most he is always on time and comes right at 300pm, know him by name I was ordering stuff for my one car like crazy one year. FedEX I don't like as much, they are usually on time but don't make it to my house until 900pm or after, think they do things differently. I always feel like I should tip the FedEX guy because he comes so late, last time I gave him the $10 that was in my pocket he came at like 10:00pm and my package was a little over 80 pds. BTW, I deliver pizzas for a living and tip everyone, because I feel that will be good karma for me.

i'd pick ups over fedex any day. everytime we order and it has been shipped via ups. and everything always turrned out ontime and the box in great condition.
i have received at least 4 damaged packages from fedex..i hate them adn they are horrible..the packages were litteraly ripped open. and the stuff inside is broke. so *************************** fedex

I've always had great experiences with both UPS and fedex and even USPS.

My components i bought back in may came banged up, but then, justind idn't even package them... so yeah.

My dad's ipod shipped through fedex from Apple. When i god it, it looks like god hand delivered it to the fedex location on a pillow.

And fedex came at like 9:30 AM.
