is it safe?

I was just wondering if it was safe to bridge my amp into 2ohm. In the instructions that came with the amp it says how to do it but says it is not recomended and shouldnt be done. so is it safe and if not why isnt it.

Yea, the amp make/model would be helpful.
They may not recommend it because of the additional heat from the lower resistance.

I gotta agree with Bill
That amp is not actually built for those levels, so please avoid.

You'd probably be better off looking for a 1ohm stable amp
