Need last advice, going to buy?!?

Post by npcout »

Okay, im going to be purchasing my subs very very soon, and was curious about your opinions. Im getting either one of these very cheap from my cousin, he has a lot of money, and works at circuit city and said he could get me either one of these, but i have to let him know tonight which one i want. These are my choices,

-Kicker 05S12L5 05' Model in ported box. The l5 vented enclosure. 12in. Dual 2ohm sub.

-Kicker 1200-Watt Dual 12" Subwoofer/Enclosure (DCVR122)

Obviously, the first is a single sub, where as my other choice is two 12's but which is going to pound harder and give me better sound. These are my only options because im getting them very cheap, when im older, i plan on getting some rele nice, high end brand subs.

Any opinions? Thanks a lot, means a lot to me!

Your use of the subs (speakers in general) is going to dictate more of how they sound than how much money you spend on them.
I'd go with a round speaker over a square one.
