Elevation Forum down?

Post by joeyc »

Can anybody get into the elevation forum? I haven't been there in a while and now its not working. Anybody know? I did hear that Joe has been a little under the weather, maybe he just hasn't been able to maintain it.

I had never heard of them until I came here today. I checked out their site and the forum wouldn't come up for me either. :(

I was looking for some price info, but oh well.

once you get to 10 posts, PM Justin From Detroit. He is a rep for them and who i bought my stuff from. But I think the comps are around $130, the SQX's $230, dunno bought the Pro's, and the 15" Execution is $800(which I have one). The DX1500.1 is also $800(which I have too), but i dont know about the DX100.4. The concert components are I think $280. But, those are all retail prices and I doubt you would have to pay retail.

That sounds good then. Sadly, the subwoofer manual on the site doesn't list the SQX series, which either that or the Pro was what I am interested in. Something that sounds very nice, but has some capability for volume. I'd hate to say "SQL", but I guess that would fit. :p

Some comparable to the IDMAX of some sorts. I'll keep Elevation in mind. :)

I've been trying to get in touch with them personally (they are fairly local to me), to talk a little business.
No one's answering the phone either.

As I understand, Joe has sold the company... if that's true, good for him - but that really leaves the future of the company in the air. Quite often, those "big corporation" sales result in what were nice products turning into "me too" products.

Alright guys, calm down.

The forum is gone for now. Too many people were coming on the board just to try and sell stuff. The guys don't have time to watch over it nonstop and delete those posts. The board was there to discuss Elevation, not sell your own old shit.

Joe did not sell the company, but they will be going through some distributors soon, and may be seen in a few larger stores.

YOU CAN NOW BUY ELEVATION DIRECTLY FROM ME. Yes, directly from me, via the internet. It is NOT against the rules, and you get full warranty. Joe has given me full permission to sell over the internet. In fact, DetroitBass.com will soon have an online store setup for ordering. So anyone who needs prices, feel free to PM me or e-mail me [email protected].

The suspense in the posts was killing me!

Glad to hear Joe didnt sell out, Im guessing it would take a hell of a lot of $$$ for him to do that... If any amount is ever enough.

Doo,

Ive replied on Elevation @ CAF numerous times when they do come up.

THe pro and the SQX looks rather nice. I had a chance to hear the old style Pro's in Justins car a few times now. I believe their only change was the baskets. IMO they went to a cheaper basket that doesnt look as nice, but hey- its just a basket.

A certain company (whose name starts with B, but would probably deny it if asked) has been trying to buy out Elevation for a while. Joe won't budge.
