Post by Evanjl »

my head unit has a subwoofer option and all it is is a wire with an rca plug in end on it. if there were two ends i would thing that it would be used to go to an amp but there is just one....how do i convert this one end to power holpfully like an 8 inch sub..

if that made any sense at all

You can either just use that single one or you can get a Y wire to split that single one into two.

I don't know what RCAs you're running your sub from, you need to clarify. Are you currently running your sub amp off of that single RCA channel or are you splitting them and getting two channels out of it?

If you're not running any other amp off your rear RCA outs, just use that.
