Outdoor speakers

Post by kevinberry1 »

I'm currently looking for some patio speakers and was wondering if anyone had any advice on brands. I'm not looking for anything big or expensive, just some middle-of-the-road speakers that will sound okay without costing too much.

I've checked out parts express and found some TIC speakers, but I've never heard of that brand so I don't know about their reliabilty or performance. If anyone has experience with different brands please let me know. Thanks!

What about the downfiring ones?

Or you could just buy some cheap mids/woofs and toss some tweeters in them with a passive x over. But then ya gotta cover them up when your done in case of rain.

I just hooked up really long speaker wire to the stereo in the garage for outside :p , cheap fix as we only listen to the radio outside like 2-3 times a year when we have parties.
