ok heres my question, i have 2 audiobahn aw1200q's 12inch dual voice coil subs i believe they are 2ohm and 4ohm stable
700 rms & 1400 peak apiece, run off a kicker zr360 amp, not sure of the wattage. right now, after looking at a few wiring diagrams it seems i have them run at 8ohms, cause i have only 1 positive off a speaker ran to the other positive off the second speaker then out to the terminal, same as with negative, and that shyt gets down, but on the wiring diagram, rockford fosgate has, it says that all dual voice coil subs need to have both coils hooked up or you can seriously mess up you speakers, i dont want to do that so i was wondering what is my best option? which will make my system get down the hardest, 2 or 4 ohm wire ups, and on rockfordfosgate.com it even had a set up for 2 2ohm dvc speakers on a 0.5 ohm load. is that acomplishable with my setup? im really lost with this ohm crap, dont know if lower the ohm is better or higher. any help is greatly appreciated, thanks chris

So you don't want to wire up both voice coils? I highly suggest you do. Ohms wont make any sound difference. Don't wire it to .5 ohms that amp is not stable at .5. I would wire it up at 2 ohms if that amo is even stable. Or upgrade to a bigger amp.
