need help with cd player! no power!

i have a jvc infiniti cd player and the other day i left my lights on in my van and i woke up and my battery was completly dead and since then my cd player will not come on at all. the battery is pushing out 14 amps and ive checked all my fuses and i even bought a new wire harness. the only luck ive had getting it on is bypassing the wire harness but still that only lasts for a few seconds..anyone got any idea whats wrong with it?..oh yeah i even plugged my stock cd player in and it wont work..but there all getting power...i dont get it..

Is the ground right?

When you say they are getting power I assume you are grounding your probe off on a known ground and are putting the red probe on the 12v+ leads. Try reversing this method onto the ground wire.
