New Lacuna Coil album...

Post by Jonathan »

Picked it up today, it's titled Karmacode.

Initial impression is that the CD straight out rocks. If you want a female vocalist that can rock and sound angelic simultaneously, look no further. If you're an Amy Lee fan (Evanescence), buy this album amongst their others and find yourself converted. Cristina Scabbia can sing 10x better and she's hotter :D IMO the best female rock singer out right now.

Not of the absolute best recording quality, but the CD straight rocks. Especially "Closer" and "Our Truth".

i didnt like it as much as the others.. its "ok"... check out Theatre Of Tragedy's newest one, or their cd Aegis, this cd is a great melodic/goth/doom album, one of their best, sounds killer on a system.

Unleashed Memories is probably my fav of all of them. But I just love Scabbia's voice :D

Who's that chick from Arch Enemy? Angela Gossow I think? She kicks some serious ass too. Tanja from Lullacry is another one

Oh yeah, and Anneke from the Gathering. Can't forget her. Anita from Sins of Thy Beloved, too. I'm a sucker for rocker chicks, what can I say :D

I'll have to hear the new Theater of Tragedy stuff, though. Last I heard was when Liv Kristine was the lead, she was great too.

Try Nightwish as well. Awesome female opera singer. They just kicked her out of the band, but I don't think they have any albums without her as of yet.

Good to see people are listening to more than what's on the radio. Sorry, that's my musician side coming out. *pulls out stick and beats it away*
