This is just a pic I found on the net, but its cool as shit!

Looks like I can pick up a roller frame for about $1250 or one ready to go for $2400...

Probably wont be buying much/any car audio this summer and no vacation :(

Oh well, my kid will surely be happy!

I will be happy to when my girl is out there beating the BOYS!

DUDE!!! DO IT!!!

I know if/when i have kids, they are getting go karts/motorcycle/quads as soon as they can ride a 2 wheeler! I remember how much fun i used to have...so i might as well let them have the same amount of fun.

BTW, we used to race karts like that at a gokart track near my skool. They go pretty quick w. 5 horsepower honda's on 'em!

edit: This might be goin up an hour from my house http://www.f1longisland.com/

Kick ass man. Joey and myslef pretty much grew up the local dirt tracks, and one of my best friends is the head driver for Factory 1 Racing. So if you need anything let me know.

FYI, be prepared to spend a LOT of money. Yeah the 125 class isn't to bad, but once your kid starts moving up (sportsman, multi, and outlaw class) it gets expencive.

Well the ones Im looking at (Quarter Midgets) are basicly a go kart with a cage. Sprint cars are very BIG in this area...

I like the idea of this car/league as:

1) Its a sprint car!
2) It has a nice roll cage to protect her
3) Its a club and all the fee's associated with are very reasonable ($135 a year, $20 a race, free practice Mon-Teus)
4) These cars are fairly cheap compared to others, true its just lawn mower engines...lol

Oh ya... So I work as a machinist in a machine shop... So anything I want I can make if its to expensive to buy ;)

I think it needs to be a Briggs& Stratton and they probably have limits on HP or size...

Yeah there is a size limit, and a limit on mods. I think people go with brigs cause they are easy to get parts for, and produce good HP to weight.

Wish my dad bought me one of those. Never heard of any go cart places by my house in SAn Francisco though.
