Post by Darthness »

So i'm on day 5 of my diet today. i've lost some decent weight but i was wondering if this is normal and how i can get over it -- it seem as the week progresses, my liking for veggies has declined. I practically threw up afew times tonight, first with my soup and then again with some tomatoes. has anyone had a simular problem? or know of a way to overcome it? apparently i ahve a bad gag reflex.

argggggggg. i want to start the diet again next week but i'm thinking i may have to modify it and hope it works...

Meat is a good thing IMO. You just need to watch how much of what your eating and thats about it.

haha wait so you have been eating soup for the last 2 weeks? no wonder why you hate veggies!

if your having soup you should throw in some potatos.

i dont really know your diet or i would suggest some onion soup because it looks like you like onions. what is your diet because if its a vegetarian diet i could tell you some nice recipies.

There are a lot of ways to lose weight, but doing it drastically is going to hurt you worse than help you.

All I did to lose weight is take notes of what I normally eat during the week. Once the week was over, I looked over that list and saw what ways I could improve my eating habits. In my case it was cutting out soft drinks and making sure that I packed my own food (especially at work) instead of my other options, which was what a vending machine or restaurant would offer me. It helped that I didn't have a wife cooking for me, though, it'd be hard to give that up now. :D

And of course the other element is exercise, which most tend to avoid :D Just working around the house can give you enough exercise, though, especially if you take on a project in something related to your interests.

That's exactly what I did Jonathan. It was truly amazing how often I would drink some kind of soft drink, and eat pizza, work at a pizza place, and other junk food. All I do is drink water, and eat granola(sp) bars instead of a couple slices of pizza. It was hard to do at first, but now is easy. Also, I always wanted a snack before going to bed, now I just have a glass of water, infact that is usually what I do when I feel like a snack.

Ahhh, the celeb diet... Whatever goes in your mouth must come out... nice!

Haha, just kidding.... I'm not a big fan of veg. soup nor of veggies in general so I'd fail hardcore at that diet... I suggest that you find another diet that doesnt make you sick...

I definately wouldn't cut out meat. Eat as many times throughout the day as you can. At least 5 times. Small meals. And eat healthy food. Meat, fruit, vegitables and drink a lot of water. The key is small portions and knowing when to stop. You have to eat slower. Chew your food better. Give your brain a chance to acknowledge that you're full so you don't over eat.
