Refurbs??

Post by swimmerdude »

I have been trying to find an amp lately for under $300 that does 700-800rms at 2ohm. I finally came across a Viper D1200.1 refurb on ebay for $225 shipped. I am kind of spectical about getting a refurb even though this is a good quality brand. What are yours guys feeling about refurbs.... any personal experiences??

Go for it. I believe they still give you a warranty on it to. Fromn who ever you buy it from I think.

It says 90 day warranty and that the seller is an authorized dealer

Go for it. Refurbs are broken amps (or whatever) sent back to the factory and are fixed to brand new condition.

A few ppl on here are running refurb equipment with no issues. I'd say go for it. If something wasnt done right, then it will usually show up within the 90 day warranty period.

My Refurb kicker is on the way. It was supposed to come today, but we missed them.

Yup, hate it. I was kind of excited to see what it would look like too.
