Aren't Oscars freshwater fish?
I know salt water tanks require a lot of effort to keep clean and cost a lot to maintain, but if you have the time and the money then go for it. Salt water tanks always look so much better than freshwater; the fish are brighter in color and there are more varieties. Keep us posted.

Yes Oscars are freshwater, and mean :)

Salt water is a LOT of work and is expensive. It's also hard to keep many saltwater fish alive.

You can get freshwater sharks and stingrays.

I once had a 120 gallon tank. It was 2' square and 4' long...

TO bad our beautiful municipal water here killed about $300 worth of fish in the first four months. SO I drained it and sold her off...

A friend of mine has about 12 or so pirahnas in a tank. They make great party entertainment. Everybody sits around throwing chunks of hot dogs or what ever is around into their tank. Great fun. lol
