The New Toyota FJ

Post by ridr4lif »

So, i dont know if anybody heard of this, but i guess it just started appearing in showrooms. Its been a pretty big hit so far too. I like the new FJ a lot but think im gonna wait until next year and pick one up on a trade in for a little cheaper.

They start at as little as 21k 4x2, or about 23k for a 4x4 manual. Im sure dealers are gonna jack prices tho, since they are in great demand. Enough rambling...here are some pics!

Minus the luggage rack, rear spare tire and the white roof and I would like one!

Yea, im not too keen on the white roof, but the rest of it i like. I didnt at first, but it grew on me. Especially once i found out how good it was offroad (according to tests).

And smoker, how does that look anything like a caprice? haha

Does 0-60 in 7.6 or 7.8, but who cares how fast it gets to 60. Its apparently really good offroad. Check out the bulletin on toyota's site.

Also, this is a pretty decent test:
