i keep getting shocked....

well... as the title says i keep getting shocked. it just started to happen today so idk if its just static electricity or because my ground is messed up? anyone have an idea?

well based on the information at hand im going to assume you have a bad ground.....im going to assume that you dont have the ground lead attached to a large grounding surface like your ass and if relocating the ground is not feasible then perhaps static straps on your ankles will do the trick....

HAHAHA static straps it is :)

i'll look at my ground tomorrow. it was a large grounding surface when i put it on (right under a large bar holding the gas tank up (yes its far away from the gas tank) connected to the body). but i'll have to look and see if something came lose.

i just meant that you didnt say it was your car shocking you so i assume you are just walking around getting shocked.........

If the air is dry and cool, then you really can't avoid getting shocked a lot of times. A couple of weeks ago, I was in my g/f's Civic and she was on the intersate. I climbed into the back seat to get something out the trunk. It has this deal where you put the key in to release a side of the seat. Well, I stuck the key in, and got shocked. Not once, but 3 times!!! They were BAD shocks too! Enough to make me go "AHH" lol

someone at tn.com also had this prob(was that you veggie-man?) and im pretty sure it has nothing to do with bad grounds or anything.. just the weather tends to do that.. colder air is dryer air which allows the static electricity to flow easier? anyone concur?
