what the ****?

ok, in my 1997 2-door ford explorer i have a sony xplode deck, 2 boston acoustics 6.5's in the door hooked up to a planet audio 300 watt amp, 2 eclipse pointsource 6.5's in the back. now heres my problem. just out of nowhere only the right side speakers quit working. that means 1 boston speaker and 1 eclipse speader. i was told it may be that 2 of the channels in the deck blew. so i tested that out by hooking up the right rear speaker to the left speaker wire in the deck, when i did that 1 right side speaker started working but both left speakers kept working. so i took the deck down to get tested and they gave me a new one and when i hooked that one up i still got nothing out of the right side speakers. can anyone help me cause i am confused?

sounds to me like you have a wiring issue i dont know what yet cause im a lilttle confused but im not sure. ill reread this a little more when i have some more time.

so is the amp only running the front doors and the deck runs the rears? if so it sounds to me like you have a short somewhere in your speaker wires for the front door that may be shorting the right side outputs...
