Ok, my question is:
When your building ur enclosure to specs, and it says lets say, 1.5cuft of space inside, how do u take account for any type of sound dampening spray you apply to the inside - and what about bracing?

you don't spray any dampening spary inside as far as i know... but if you use bracing you do need to account for it.

If you are using a damping material, just take into account for how thick it is, and subtract that from your internal volume. If you are using braces, just figure out what their volume is subtract that from the internal volume as well.

If your wanting to do a sound dampener inside of your box, look into something like hushmatt foam. I have heard of people getting really good results with it in the box. It will also make the box seam a little bigger to the speaker, same theory as putting polly fill in a box.
Either way, I wouldn't worry about the internal volume that much. The hushmatt is only about a 1/2 inch thick, so it shouldn't make your box seem that much bigger. If you go with regular sound dampening its normally only 1/8 of an inch thick or less. so the diffrence in internal volume wouldn't be that much either.
