x2I would say no as well. 1,100 is quite a bit for a mid sized truck. If it were a full size it might be able to handle it though. I would say upgrade before doing any major install.
Just do it to be safe. You don't want any clipped signals do ya?

if that 1100 watts is the total amount rms your system is going to have or what the amps are rated at i dont think you will ever see the 1100 watts or at least not for more than a few seconds. are you going for spl or sql or sq? and if you find what amps you are going to use then we could figure out if you would need too. also i thought that was a full size pickup for some reason.
not sure but I have an 04 impala and i'm running two 15'' Kole audio KMX's rated at 1000 watts rms...just upgraded from two power acoustik fubr's at 800 watts rms. the amp is 2400max. i added a yellow top to the trunk and everything runs fine, but im not sure about your caraudiocr381ve wrote:Do you think my 2000 Nissan Frontier can handle this without new alt, batt?
