Important Question, NEED YOUR HELP!

Post by alldaz »

Ok guys, I bought these cheap subs from ebay a few years ago when I was around 15, never used them. My friend wants to buy them and I have a question; The subs/amp are made by Xtreme

The amplifier that i'm sellin is rated at 1600 watts.

2x80 RMS

4x400 Max

******************

The subs are are rated at 400 Watts of power, it doesnt say RMS or Max.

1.5 High Temp K.S. Voice Coil

My question is if I hook two of those subs up to the one amp, will it play properly? I don't want to sell this guy the two subs and the one amp, and they won't play because I dont want to do him dirty.

I have four of the subs and two of the amps, so are their any combinations in which this setup will work? THANKS IN ADVANCE

Alldaz, it will play fine, for what it is. There is nothing wrong with hooking two subs up to a single amp, as long as you wire the subs in a way the amp can handle.

In the future try to stay away from those brands, and brands like them. They are very cheaply made, have a very very high failure rate.
