So from my last post I learned a few things about ohm stability. Thanks for the help. From what I now understand, it seems that the only way I'm going to get the bass I want is by getting a new amplifier. I have two Kicker 12" L7's (S12L7) That have dual 4ohm voice coils. I'm pretty sure the best way to power them up is by getting a 1ohm stable amp. I've been looking at a couple different amplifiers. 1) Kicker sx1250 or kx1200 2) Phoenix Gold X1200 xenon 3) Hifonics BX1500D 4) Something Power Acoustik?
I guess the best way to put my question is, what amp would you reccomend for these subs? Also, I'm not very familiar with Hifonics amps or power acoustik so if anyone has an oppinion on them then please share. Thanks for the help again. -Ben

Be sure to check the FAQ section for brand reliability as rated by the mods. I know that many are not too high on Power Accoustic. Hifonics is ok, I had a Nemesis 750 watt mono amp that was 1 ohm stable and it was fine for the year I owned it. It did tend to get pretty hot and shut off easily, but for the money it was fine. I know Kicker amps are awesome, so you can't go wrong there.
