Hello all
I was in my local Canadain Tire the other day and was looking around the car part deparment and came across a Sony Xplod 444w amp for $99CAN($60US) reduced from$199CAN($160US). I was wondering weather I should pick it up just as a temporary amp for the 2 12"Rockford fosgate subs i have. I will be hooking it up to a pioneer 4700 deck. the amp says 444 in big numbers if that helps identify the age of it.
Now I know that sony xpold stuff is not that great but I just want something for now till I have money to pick up good equipment. I'm not looking to win any compititions I just want a little more kick in my '84 cutlass. I want to put in 3 10" RF subs in later and a more powerful amp, fronts and rears
ps what is the best companies to go with in terms of mounting brackets, speaker wire, tweeters and amps for later reference?

Boy they almost fooled you.
There is no way on gods green earth anyone with half a brain would pay $160 or $200 american for that ugly amp that has "444" plastered on it.
Please forget about that "deal" it is nothing but a 110% waste of your hard earned money.
American International and Metra are the brands to stand by for wiring/fit kits.
