By reading Scosches article they make it sound like THEY made this alarm...

After just purchasing a CompUStar and seeing such a low end brand like Scosche have the same dang thing Im a little hot...

Thoughts? Opinions? Anyone know whats up with this?

Im going to E Mail both companies and ask whats up...

basically I lose all respect for scosche when I see their spinner sub grille on pimp my ride...

anyways I bought a compustar too, in fact that same one, I think mine was $420 authorized, so it would be $700 msrp, thats not that much of a difference. and plus mine is from a dealer so it has to be marked up, so its probably a lot less.

Yeah, But Im guessing that Compustar is selling this alarm system to them or something along that line...

im a dealer for scosche and id have to say they suck, their boxes are way below par, amps are overrated never trust thier salesmen they dont know anything and wire is way over priced

I did get an official response from Compustar yesterday.

I will post it when I get back home.

The long and the short of it is:

Compustar is making this alarm for Scosche. Scosche is claiming to be the ones developing it, when they are not. Furthermore the people at Compustar didnt see Scosches page until I told them about it, they didnt seem exactly happy.

ya i hate it when people brag up there products like oh this is top of the line sh!t. my salesmen for scosche is such a dumbass i want just beat his ass. they are a very bad company to work with. i have yet to recieve a full order there is always oh we were out and i dont here about it till after i get some stuff or i forgot to pack it or something like that. i hate thier amps and i got suckered into buying 6 of those and i wont even sell them to a customer cause they are crap. wires are alright if they would cost less it would be fine. not a very good company. tsunami is alot better. im a dealer for them
