just making sure of the right way

Post by Tim »

okay dudes, gotta buddy who has purchased a 4 channel amp.

he has two dvc 2 ohm subs, what will be the best way to tell him to wire it.??

the amp he bought is this one:http://www.overstock.com/Electronics/Le ... oduct.html.

I want to make sure he does it correctly with blowing sumthin up.

Tim

I want him to know his options, power vs. longevity and longevity vs. power

wire each sub to 4 ohms (series)

connect each sub to 2 bridged channels of the amp.

I don't see any other way you can do it, unless you want to run them both off of 2 channels.

Longevity with that amp? I doubt it...

He bought the amp because he thought it was gonna be a high power amp. He didnt pay attention to it being 4 channels, and I didnt catch it till today. I know with that brand longevity is kinda a joke, but hey you know....

That is the only solution....

Thnks
