Bonehead move last night:
Well I should be wearing one of those "There's your sign" things that Jeff Foxworthy is always talking about after last night.
Ok so. I received my subs from Smoker on tuesday and went to install them in the box last night. So here's what happens.
I go to work. I go strait to the gym where I honestly can say I am proud of myself because I ran for 25mins... And I hate running. Of course this is piled on with all the other lifting... Then I went strait home and got to work on cutting out the holes in the box for the subs. Took my time and did a good job on it.
So i put the subs in the box and then into my truck. making sure that I wired the subs correctly in Parallel..
Here is where I screw up:
I didnt realize it but i was putting in the wires to the terminal on the amp and Hifonics Brutus amp I have has the wires like this:
- - + + and I thought that it was more like this: - + + -
No sound is coming out I thought ok... what is the problem?
Checked all my lines and my RCA's all the way back the HU still nothing... Now im pissed/scared because im thinking my amp is messed up.
Well I check it with a DMM and all seems fine... Can't figure it out...
So im up for a couple hours when i just say screw this and go to bed... of course its on my mind when i get up... I look at the amp in the morning (you know when its light out) and see the configuration ... and just go, yep great job idiot!
Figured I would share my stupidity with all of you.

No biggie, we have all done it at one point or the other. I have. It is amazing though how clear things become when it is as you said "lights out"
