public apology

I am making a formal apology to Unique South (Troy). I made a snap judgment and a bad call. I have thought about this alot in the past few days.

And I made comments and statements that shouldn't have been made. I still think the sub box is a bit overpriced, but I shouldn't have made some of the statements I did.

We are entitled to our opinions, that is after all one thing noone can take from us, but I learned to reserve judgment, because after all we may not have walked in those shoes.

At any rate this is my formal and public apology.

First I'm not saying this to stand up for anyone... So please don't get the wrong idea
Now with that out of the way...
Isn't trying to get the most out of your product or service supposed to be what making money in business is all about? If you can get people that are willing to pay more then why not.
When I was a car dealer the customers I made the happiest (believe it or not) were the ones that I sold to for sticker price... They were willing to pay the full amount because they felt it was worth it and that they were being treated well by the dealer (me)... Does that make me out to be a bad guy because I didn't drop the price for them? Cause I bet if I had they would have wondered "Why?" and probably would have bought somewhere else.

Plain and simple I own 2 businesses (housekeeping & automotive accessories) and I do it to support myself and my family so if I can get someone that wants to pay me double for getting a stain out of their couch or someone wants to pay msrp on a $400 sub ... who am I to argue... People expect their worth.

Glen, Aren't you the same? When talking about your job you feel you are worth a certain amount and if you found someone willing to pay you double what you make now wouldn't you take it... I know since we've talked in the past that you have a good heart and mean well for everyone here, so If Troy is sincere he'll prove it and if not then time will tell.

Well lets put it this way. New york a sub sandwich is 14 bucks! for a footlong. thats more than twice what we here in ohio or you glenn in georgia im sure its close. so lets break it down.

new york sub 14 Ohio 7
New your sub box 800 Ohio 400

Regardless of the figures or the numbers or any of that bullshit.

MONEY IS DIFFERENT FROM STATE TO STATE. PLACES LIKE LA AND NY AND SF ALL HAVE HIGHER PRICES BUT THERE SALARY'S ARE HIGHER.

Is that sub in New York worth 14 dollars?
If it wasn't, would the company still be around?

I respect Unique in the sense that the company seems to be doing exactly the american dream. Charge a lot and get it. If I could do exactly what they are doing, hell I would.
I also realize when someone drops the ball....

your not gettin what im saying bro. and by the way thats subway. money is just worth more in some places and less in others. a 400000 dollar house there would go for 65000 here. i know that my house is about 210,000 bucks out in LA we were told it would be about 800,000

However i agree with you 100per on the orlando brown truck someone deffinatly ****ed up there but if they cleaned up the bull shit they deserve a second chance.

no probably not, If I make a bad call on something you do, yes I will. I made a bad call when I posted the statements I did, plain and simple.

I said I still thought the box was overpriced, however when you do the math as Bill did it works out about right?

When I am wrong I admit it, and I was wrong. If Orlando's truck was cleaned up after the mess that was made then whats the problem??

I learned a lesson and that is what is important, at least to me.

I agree, I'll wait and see how deep this rabbit hole goes :)

And learning a lesson, I should be more tolerant to Unique as a person, may not have to agree with everything company wise but as a person he hasn't done anything cept a lil spamming and..uhh let he who hasn't spammed cast the first stone
