Hello All..

Post by mak »

Just found this site through a link from Ryan on CAF and thought I'd sign up in hopes of a spam-free mobile audio site :)
My name is Mak, I'm 22 (nearly 23) and have been into mobile audio/video for about 9 years, but have been practicing the arts (installation, etc) for about 7 now.
My current set is;
Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-P860MP
Front Stage: Polk DB6501 (front doors)
Rear Stage: None
Amp(s): Cadence TXA-6004 (components on channels 1/2 -> 150W RMS per channel, sub bridged on channels 3/4 @ 4 ohms -> 600W RMS)
Sub(s): Diamond D6 12" D2
Sub Box: 2.25^3 Ported @ 33Hz
I intend to add another D612D2 and build a large box to accommodate them, bridging channels 1/2 for the new sub so each sub will receive 600W RMS @ 4 ohms bridged. Then I'll be using another amp to power the components - Rockford Punch75 '25 to Life', for about 170W RMS to each component.
Anyways, this is my intro - hopefully this community is right for me, so far - so good :happy055:

Mak,

Just from hearing the setup, it almost sounds like you are SQ oriented. This is the place to be. We have many SQ enthusiasts on this board. Welcome and enjoy your stay. If you like it, you might want to consider Platinum status in the future.

Hey there mak, good to have you. Yeah you don't have to worry about spammers here, they do a really good job of keeping them out.

Nice work on the pods, and I like yourself lean more to the heavy bass but not all over the place, sound.

Anyway welcome

Edit: the board just got redone, look around you will find some very nice features
